A La Nanita Nana

Description
This is actually a Christmas tune (hence the manger scene), but since it's a little early for that, I classified it as a rock instrumental.

Doumbek
Yes, that's a real doumbek, not a loop. I recorded it by shoving a mic up inside it and used a sort of alternating left-finger-on-edge/right-thumb-in-middle stroke.

I was thinking it needed a drum, but a full drum loop would have been overdoing it.

Thanks!
I've been looking for ways to add a little percussive rhythm without relying on drum loops.

What next? Hold a shakey egg in my strumming hand while I play the guitar? Maybe. *wink*

Cheers,
Jim

And you guessed correctly. I found it in a Christmas fake book.

Very Smooth
This is a very original Christmas tune, 3/4 feel, the guitar has a great distant sound that matches the theme.Great Job my friend!

Yes it's early, but it's okay, we won't tell anyone this is a Christmas tune
