Doumbek Yes, that's a real doumbek, not a loop. I recorded it by shoving a mic up inside it and used a sort of alternating left-finger-on-edge/right-thumb-in-middle stroke. I was thinking it needed a drum, but a full drum loop would have been overdoing it. Check out my latest song called Joy to the World
