Oh jeeeezzzzz ...no sleeping tonight, buddy. Thanks a lot. Absolutely superb storytelling. I particularly admire how you use the sound landscapes and touches of effects to enhance the story - this requires a very deft touch, just a little too much and the power of the narration would have been disturbed. Case in point - that distant child's cry at the end made my skin crawl. It was just distant enough to be deeply unsettling, but not so close that it pulled my attention away, just right to spike up the fear. All the way through you kept the balance perfect.... was it really almost twenty minutes? Maybe time went faster because I'd stopped breathing..... Yikes Brilliantly written. The sounds are such an effective highlight on the already visually evocative creepy story line. The tension is so well drawn out, and the horror of a trusted figure being so evil makes the whole story incredibly effective. The next Mr. Poe?? Boo! Man I freaking love zombies. I had to do exam retakes due to the first resident evil game... Also just finished reading World War Z which was fun. Really enjoyed your work hear. The echoey background reminded of those games I used to play and are to a comparible standard which is amazing as they must cost millions to make these days. The story itself left me with super graphic images in my head. A very clear picture of what was going on was being painted. I casually put this on while still at work waiting to hear what Andy - a recent commentator of my work - had to offer. Within a seconds I was completely spellbound and could do nothing for the next 15 minutes but listen to this tasteful yet lurid tale of woe play out.
