Description

I had written the music for this tune and decided to add some vocals, which I hardly ever do, since that is not my thing... I mostly write instrumentals. I ran my voice through an electric guitar effect, and really liked the sound. I had no lyrics, so I made up these words as I went... lol - hope you enjoy.

nice textures...
Although I think the vox are a teeny bit too up-front (though it may be the cool effect on the voice wears thin after awhile), but that's pretty minor... overall this is very enjoyable, sort of an un-placeable genre... intriguing chord patterns. And the non-lyrics help give this an exotic edge. Nice stuff, welcome to Macjams! Rather impressive resume there :-) I hope you enjoy what tidbits we all have to offer here.

wow... thanks for all the kinds words and suggestions! I look forward posting more of my stuff AND listening to each of yours!

I thought I might pass on how I came back to mac jams after 4-5 years when i first signed up. I was listening to some 70's songs by a guy named Paul Davis, who wrote the incredible "I go crazy" as well as many other great songs. I was curious what Paul Davis was up to these days, and through many links I followed I came across an article online that said Paul was writing new music on a music web site under the name DROOPY! After a google search I found out he was here on MacJams!! And his new music was great!! And the cool thing was many did not know who he was, and all the success he had had over the years. And the sad part was finding out that after his renewed interest in music, he passed away. So it was because of Paul Davis that I came back to MacJams, and I look forward to hanging out here often. (check DROOPY, aka Paul Davis's music out! Really cool stuff!!)

I would love to collaborate on some music with you talented sings and lyric writers. Even though my first upload here has vocals, 99% of my music does not. So maybe we can collaborate on some things once I get more of my music up!

The age old question..
"How do I make somebody a fan of my music?" The answer is to write good music and they will become fans! OK, now for a more serious answer... I think you mean, "How do I become a fan of somebody else?" (since you cannot force somebody to be a fan of you here.) The answer to that is to go to that person's artist page, and right at the top under their picture is a little HEART icon... click it, and it will have an X on it, and you are marked as their fan. You can also then optionally go to your "FAVORITES" area, and turn on a checkbox to auto-receive e-mails if they ever upload a new song. But, these newbie questions are best asked in chat, or as a forum post :-) Welcome back, and Droop has been an AMAZING and humble addition to our community, we were all very very sad to hear of his passing!

	Svend Nice tune ! I love where this goes and the vocals fit really well.... but what do I know? I find that collaborations are most rewarding and binds folks together in very meaningful ways.
