Love the off beat drums
Just wailing on the vox on this one. Wake up the neighbors time! Very cool. Modern and hip. Well done

Moving in lurches?
On the second listen I found this more comfortable. I guess I have come to hear your voice as an instrument, not as a lyric delivery system. That of course says more about me than you but is a compliment of the highest degree.
Posting the lyrics helps me. I appreciate your posts and look forward to seeing how things progress for you, very impressive work...

dreaming real life
dude i continue to be impressed by your imagination. love the "ooooooooh" after the first "bye bye", love that way that mashes genres over the course of a measure. same for the backups toward the very end the "dah dah dah" barbershop sounding backups. you do your own thing and that's really refreshing. cool stuff.

I could
imagine this in a rock opera... it has that Stage feeling..... love how you work everything to the hilt from the off beat rhythm to your great voice. A very unusual song but it sort of holds you till it's done, cheers M

Just plug me back into the Matrix
Powerful vocal, and I really like your syncopated rhythm with the use of silence to keep up the staggering feel in the verses. The harmonies in the chorus add to the not quite real feel to the piece.

I really REALLY like this one. Very creative! Downloaded of course.

Cheers,
Doug

wicked pipes you have sir sharp. The passion meter is pegged on this. Way cool use of the off time and backing trax. Love what you did with the backing vox as well.

YEs! yes
The mix is spot on. The singing is tops some parts have a Belew sound to it not in a guitar sense but in the arrangement especailly in the bye bye goodnight part. I say choose the dream worry about the regret later

i don't know....
exactly where to throw this in the genre scheme but it has a lot of heart and equal funk to make it sound like a modern classic rock song....
