Description
This is about demonstrating a restrung, recently cleaned and re-introduced Takeharu Acoustic which is celebrating its 30th year of ownership of these paws of mine ....and a recent realisation that you do not have to play all the strings at the same time at a million miles an hour all the time and that space and sensitivity are allowed and should be utilised.....and that you should really not use these two dodgy dynamic microphones of somewhat dubious provenance and vintage but buggrit they are all I have got at the minute....so here is a hopefully more refined, sensitive and measured piece.....it won't last !

Story teller
Song is a wonderful tool. You have done a great job telling a story here. I wish it was a stories I knew. This is way too kind a tale for the likes of me. Nicely done.

Like the space between the lines
Ya know how the teacher always told you to stay between the lines in you coloring book. Well Bah to that. Go out and make you own lines on the spaces just outside your window. Same goes for the music my friend !

The Takeharu sounds clean with a distinctive sound. They say the older they get the better they sound. I tend to think it's because the guy playing it has had more time to practice, but then that just me speaking out of turn. ;-)

All that said, I really like the relaxed open feel and sound on this one Chris. Tell a nice story, as Gaylen said.

Very nice track my friend, mind if I put it on my iPod ?

This is quite
lovely, Chris. You are very hard on yourself. The instrument and the artist are charming. Thanks.

Right on Chris! The space between...
"Thirty spokes of a wheel join at a common hub
yet only the hole at the center allows the wheel to spin
Clay is molded to form a cup
yet only the space within allows the cup to hold water
Walls are joined to make a room
yet only by cutting out a door and a window can anyone enter the room and live there" (Lao Tzu)

Nicely done bro!

Be well!
