Description

This piece started with a rhythm track created by Bud with intentionally distorted, over-driven drums and a rolling bass line. Particle added keys, acoustic guitar and synths - beginning to craft a song. He then posted "mess mix" to the apod dropbox. From there Michael2 laid down a series of vocals and harmonies that he dropped in the box. All very rough at this point. This is where Particle stepped up his game and began to bring all the pieces together into the tune you hear here. About five mixes bounced back and forth for comments. Project started 10/23 - completed 10/31.

	Cool parts of it sound like Bowie doing a reggae album. but that sounds bad, and this is good!! this is a great sounding collab. not surprising given the history of stellar output of the participants - although I admit I don't think I've heard "Particle" - I'll have to look for your stuff.... 	I seldom use this word... but what comes to mind is "trippy"... the music and singing have this really intoxicating feel, but its all very carefully crafted to sound a little blurry and out of focus, with a slight side-to-side weave.
