Description
This composition is based on images from a dream I had about roman type column ruins, palm leaves and blue sky. set in a desert I had been chased by armys to perform a belly dance with some other prisoners in cages. The weird thing about this dream is that when I got back from Turkey there was a postcard on the table for me from Palmyra (a place i'd never heard of) - and yes now i know its a place in syria. i had no idea that the sender of the card was there at all. on the front of the postcard was a picture of that was very similar to what i saw in my dream! - just one of lifes peculiar mysteries.

I definitely saw the belly-dancing caged prisoners--great job realizing your dream-image! And your strings & percussion have a great vintage-movie-soundtrack vibe: well done!
