Dedicated to the outcasts of society.
I did drag this off of 4-track and will probably re-master.
In 1993 I compiled the cassette album Strange Beauty
The title indicated my aquisition of modules as an art form. However, I did do a few performance pieces and this is one of them.
This is a piece from the end of my Adlib era.
The backing track is from the Adlib card.
The recording was made onto a Portastudio 1 4-track cassette deck. As you will hear there were dropouts. This is taken from the "mastered" cassette so all of the pans are live and captured.
The portastudio has the ability to "punch in" and tape speed adjustment for tuning purposes. I took advantage of that to record vocals against normal and fast speed.

Before you say anything - this was made years before Marylin Mason existed and produced a DVD of this title. This piece was my first on the internet and available on my Earthlink site for a few years in the 90's....

how cool ...this is really advance ..what most
effective here is your vocal ..good guitar work
very ambient with alot of the sound of that era
I m used to lo fi music cos this is what me and
my old band were working on ..with H&H mixer and
Akai 1227W reel recorder and national cassette
recorder ..this is so much catching the sound
but much more talented and more advance sound
and singing ...kudos ..thnx alot for sharin !!!!
