Description:
This started out as simple voice and acoustic guitar. I play guitar and my friend sings. Then I played around with midi piano and bass. There is also some very soft midi percussion that comes in the second half of the song.Lyrics:
I have a friend who thinks that everyone's an end.The means hold no meaning for him. I walk the random lines running through my cluttered mind. To try and find the quiet within. But like a skipping stone on a glassy pond or the melody of a sad song, I rise and fall from the grace of knowing you. Now leaves dot the ground, giving autumn a fragile sound. I know the winter snow is coming soon. *Chorus* Why do these songs always turn out so sad? It's as if that was all I had to say. I try to change the beat, turn bitter into sweet, but they all turn out the same. I thought I'd found my fire, when I was caught up in desire - the dissillusioned soul wanders on. The notes that fall like rain help to ease the pain - the comfort of a sad song. I have a friend who knows that everyone's an end. It's comforting to know it can be done. I cannot sit still, the memories lie up in the hills, so I follow the road under the autumn sun. *Chorus* Why do these songs always turn out so sad? It's as if that was all I had to say. I try to change the beat, turn bitter into sweet, but they all turn out the same. Why do these songs always turn out so sad? It's as if that was all I had to say. I try to change the beat, but it never sounds complete, and they all turn out the same. |
