The graphic and your calming music seem to fit beautifully. The thing, to me, that is most compelling about this composition is its restraint. The temptation would be to over-develop the atmosphere you have created, but you hold back beautifully. Is that wind or the seashore I am hearing about 3:00? There is a certain sadness about this piece that sticks in my heart long after listening (this is my third listen this morning)...maybe a longing of some kind. ... Thank you for this subdued song that is presented with such precise simplicity. Check out my latest song called I Speak Of Love

spacious I like many things about this piece: The space between the notes, you let them breathe; the use of various percussion instruments which always complement the piano rather than overwhelm it; the addition of string textures past the halfway point; the gentle, yet firm touch on the piano. One interesting note: The piece ended with 25 extra seconds of silence at the end. The pacing on this piece was excellent. In your description you refer to days, months and years. The way you built the textures and intensity exactly reflect this progression of time. Lovely work. Check out my latest song called Trio for Horn, Violin & Piano

Bravo! Reflective beauty, conscious of it's desire to communicate space and time. I like the reverb on this and the textures, maybe an improv with a trio would grow here? Daug Check out my latest song called Ride Yer Bike

Ah, space to breathe Space to be. Beautiful. Luminous. For some reason, it reminds me of an old poem of mine. . . "In the darkness of the night Deep in stilness there you might Find a softness and a light A sweetness holding you tight Out, the twoness, out of sight In, the Oneness, shining bright" Delightful. Thanks Pari. Check out my latest song called Weather or Not - Jim Bouchard's Collab

This would really work well with a movie or the video game Myst. Very peaceful and serene. Just enough going on to keep in interesting but not so much that it saps the serenity of the piece. Enjoyed it. Gorgeous piano lines. Check out my latest song called Devil's Argument!!!

un attimo di... are you using Garageband or Logic for these songs you post? The most striking things about your music, for me, are always the patience and pacing, as well as the amazing courage and skill it takes to make a song be as much about the silence as the sound. The other aspect of your music that is so very striking is the depth you achieve in the mixing. I have no idea how you do it (and I'd pay you for your secrets!) but i'm guessing it's some combination of panning and reverb. i love to put headphones on, close my eyes, and lose myself in your soundscapes. it absolutely feels as if I'm completely surrounded by instruments - your songs are like 3D listening experience. Incredible. This is gorgeous. Thank you. Check out my latest song called Greensleeves

So spacious The sense of space in this is wonderful. You know how to place a couple of notes and give them all the space they need. The percussion is interesting. Sounds a bit like prepared piano sounds. For me, the orchestral build up in the second half was not necessary. Just the piano would have made a good composition. Great stuff. This is just sublime .. .. the mood is captured so well. Fantastic space and notes loaded with such pregnant poise. Builds like the feeling of a great hole someone or something has left in your life... but a perfect mix of happy reflection tinged with some loss. Hats of people, this is soooo difficult to do and it always is mixed perfectly .. so it sounds so effortless. Check out my latest song called Anyway
