Hey, a Great Groove.. Thanks! We really worked the vocals a lot, recorded, listened, thought about it for a few days, scratched some, recorded some more. That process might go on a bit longer too. Made Hey, love that you checked out the site! An interesting thing happened with the vocals on this, I used the same stereo delay filter on two vocal takes, with a resultant effect I really enjoy. catchy, upbeat song. Simple chord progressions and melody. Sort of reminds me of beach music. Muscular female vocals, almost aggressive...maybe due to it being so "up front" in the mix. Very effective tho'. I would have liked to hear just a bit more melodic variety in this song; the "B" material sounded almost identical. Overall, very well-produced and performed. catchy, Very interesting comments given the production process for this song! Rachel did a second vocal track in a much more "agressive" than usual style, which we both quite liked and mixed almost equally with the original lead track. Indeed, the short "bridge" is very similar to the chorus.
