Description

I spent a lot of time working with Birdman Wayne on a track (yet to posted), and when I finished I really just wanted to write a dumb ol' rock song... so here it is. Steve West (tokai) sent me a load of guitar tracks to play with, which I've chopped around and FX'd to death.
This song is inspired by my complete and utter lack of patience with everything.

I used a lot of Antares vocal plug-ins (auto-tune, choir, punch and harmony) on this, as I'd just bought them and wanted to have a play.

Hey Neil
I've been meaning to get back to MJ for months, and finally had a few days over xmas where it was quiet... and the first thing I saw was the reunion e-mail. I may save my collab with Yeman ( a revamp of one of my old tracks) for Feb!
I auto-tuned this to death, and then pulled it back, but the Punch and Choir plug-ins are working overtime here.

Hey..
... and I mentioned Bowie in the song before anyone else did. It's a good point, I'm VERY impatient, but spend forever mixing... this was very keyboard-oriented at one stage, until i stripped it back to just bass/drums/guitar. Boy, i do find mixing frustrating!

BTW, thanks for the arpeggio guide - I played with this last night - very cool!

Yeah baby! Nice track. I am sooooo jealous I wasn't in on this one. The mix is INTENSE. Great job, the bass is tight and riding on top of everything. The vocals are outstanding, I mean really. Those Antares plug-ins have added a whole new level to your already impressive vox skills. Tokia's guitars are brilliant, love the high lead at the end. The synths have that dumb-old late 80's crankiness to them, beautiful. It looks like the lyrics didn't come through in their entirety though ;-(.
Good to see ya back and jammin' my friend. Maybe 2110 will hold a new song from the ER/RR dynamic duo, hmmm?

Impressive. Impressive everything. Can't believe it's just voice, drums, bass and guitars. Tokay, my friend, guitars sound right on. And I tend to suspect of auto-tuned tracks, but knowing what echoroom is capable of... man, I don't think you need them. Well perhaps because you are a little bit anxious and don't want to sing all back vocals ;-)
The part I like the most is the verse-chorus transition.

	Solid Track Good use of the synth at the start and throughout to accompany the guitars, good use of claps to go with the snare drum. Solid, tight track overall.
