I was dreaming it was night in the fall.
My heart would not forgive them at all.
But at a distance I saw this old Rugged Cross.
I Got closer to the foot of that Cross
I Got closer to the foot of the Cross.

I would fix all I've done that was wrong.
Yet darkness fell there was no light
But a glimmer of hope below the cross.

A Man was waiting below that cross
His Robe around Him I knew it was God.
In Humbleness we stood side by side
I met the Lord at The Cross
I met the Lord at The Cross
