Description

I came across this very cool song by Lennon714 that he recorded on a 4-track 10 years ago and it kinda put the hook in me. It was simple, funny-cool and unpretentious. I was in my usual creative rut, so I started playing with it and realized.. I have to do this. So, I contacted Eric and he was gracious enough to let me do a cover of it. It's straight-on, no nonsense R&R and I had fun, which is what this is all about. The drums are Addictive Drums with some additional embellishments, but other than that I'm playing and singing everything. Thanks again Eric.

hey Vic,
I was initially just intending to be double tracking the guitars and doing the same lead run to fill it out sonically, then at the last moment, exactly half way through it, I thought, go our own way man! So I did, so there you have it, half double tracked and half splitville. Never intended it, but I am happy with how it came out.

Just checked out your stuff. Well done, man. You have some real production chops, your tone on the guitar is magnificent. Posted a couple comments and a couple questions, pls share your secrets!
