Description

Well I have been working on this song for about three months now. I am excited to have finally, and I mean finally finished my first song. There are about 30 tracks in this song as I have layered things in an attempt to get a full sound. I ask that when you critique to be kind. I am no pro. Self taught on guitar and I really have not seriously played in about 10 years. Why I put it down I will never know. I just hope that someone enjoys what I have created. It is nice to get sound from inside your heart and your head and get it recorded.
Hopefully it is not to repetitious. Remember...my first full song. Thanks for listening!

Lucid Nightmare
a very full sound indeed. I really dig the progression and the vocal/synth? pad that hums along in the background. Its a very cool sound that tempers the harder guitars. Hard to believe you're are self taught :-) Lots of intuitive feel here. Thinking that for a longer tune you might add some vocals or some additional solos? also just wanted to let you know you've got some dead air on the backend..about 7 + minutes of silence. Thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to more.

KTB Thanks for the compliment! The dead air at the end happened when I bounced it. I was not paying attention. My first bounce. I realized it after the upload but did not know how to get rid of the song and reupload. I will reupload the song. This is a work in progress. There will be vocals, just have not gotten that far. I just wanted to see what everyone here thought of my creation thus far. I am amazed at the talent here and love listening to what everyone here creates. Thanks again KTB!

Love that opening. The main theme is really powerful. The dreamy vocals sound nice. Vocals later? Yeah, good idea. I'm a big fan of synths mixed with power guitars, so this is just my cup o' tea. As far as I know MJ lacks the feature that would allow you to swap in a new version. Eh, let it go for now. I like this a lot, and I'm looking forward to hearing where you take it.

This is extremely
well done - especially for a first post. Really like that dreamy synth over the top of the guitars. Very nice sounding mix, although it could be a bit louder overall. I have turned my headphone amp to full power and still not reaching its limit. Some good vocals on this could make it a killer track.

I have to say I am extremely happy to see you have commented on my song. My all time favorite on MacJams was your song Bad Kharma. Sad to see you no longer have it posted. I found it to be incredible. I am glad that I downloaded it. I listen to it all the time. Please repost it. I think everyone should hear it. I was very inspired by it. I want to thank everyone for the compliments. It means so much coming from so many talented people! I would buy a lot of the stuff that gets posted. It is that good! Thanks again! Great Job
I really like the way everything interacts. The only thing I could possibly critique in this song would be to add a bit more bass into the mix. Of course this is based on me being a drummer and wanting to hear them LOL! Great Job on making the song interesting throughout great blending, your chops haven't deminished even after ten years..... like riding a bike eh?
