Everyone Knows That You're Coming (But It's Not Too Late To Turn Around)

Description
I got a Danelectro 'Dead-On 67' Baritone for Christmas and this song is kind of a tone test for it. I wanted to see how she growled. If you turn it up loud enough, you can feel it in your chest, and I love that.

The lyrics are pretty simple cuz this song's more about the guitars, but they represent my preference of being a bit of a hermit around the holidays.

Lyrics
Everyone knows that you're coming
But it's not too late to turn around

Everybody is expecting
You to show up there and act a clown

So you stay home with your
Painkiller addiction
And your satellite TV shows

Great sound from that Danelecro - congrats
I love mine - though it's just a 59DC not a Bari. Excellent workout and the lyrics are a hoot.

wow
This is tough. With enough balls to make the queen the king. It just wouldn't be the holidays without songs about painkiller addictions, television, and agoraphobia.

a song about guitars
that sums it up. doesn't get any better. feel it in my chest? hell yeah. lyrics, who the f*ck cares, with a tone like this, it doesn't matter. I couldn't hit the DL button fast enough. This is insane. I love this song more than Good and Plentys. And I love Good and Plentys a lot. hey are those Good and Plentys in that song art, hmmmm I think they are. I like this song even more now.

Awesome drum sound. The Dano sounds tremendous. The way you're able to bring together over the top grunge and well thought out structure is amazing. I can't believe I get to download this for free. Thanks you!

Yeah, man! I mean: Y E A H, M A N ! ! !
How'd I miss this pocket rocker? Cool. I'm on a Big London Calling kick, just buckled-under and bought a digital copy today, and this works well for my state of mind. It's not really very clash like, at least not of that era, since it's way more angry at the interpersonal level vs. offering geopolitical social(ist) commentary. I appreciate how you've applied the 5-pound hammer of that killer silver-bullet lead riff. Very driving, and your vox is the perfect match in the mix.
