This is terrible for "alternative rock". &mdash 12/26/04 - 09:55:23 AM
I would recommend a genre change.

BTW, I still haven't voted for this, but I still think this would be getting higher
marks if it were cataloged under a different genre.

I loved the guitar in there!!! &mdash 12/26/04 - 10:27:18 AM
Being a guitar player I loved the concept of having the
electric guitar. That means a lot to me. The whole song
was very nice. But it is nice to hear a real present day
instrument with it's beautiful capabilities utilizing
traditional content a ten on that for sure!

You something kind of funny I was hearing that song over
my computer and I spotted a spider climbing up the wall
and I didn't kill it. Usually the first time I see a spider
climbing up the wall in my computer room I immediately
get out my fly swatter. So you saved it life for the
duration of the tune! I don't know were he is now though.

Good Luck
Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the kind words. I will let our guitarist, Tim Kobza, know. He will appreciate your comments.

this isn't terrible for "alternative" &mdash 01/15/05 - 08:53:30 PM
it freakin' sux, then blows and then sux some more. but
for a 'religious' song it's beautiful! I didn't hear any
electric guitar in here, maybe the tiler's got bionic ears or
something. The house band at God's pad is definetly
talented. You guys are blessed to have so many
exceptional musicians in one congregation, if in fact you
guys are affiliated with a certain church. if so, i'd like to
know what church it is. I'd also like to know the hardware,
software etc. used on all your song postings.

Thanks for the "positive" comments. You are right this is the wrong genre for this song, but I wanted someone to listen to it. The facts are this - We all play in a church band in Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church in La Crescenta, CA. I play piano and have a dosctorate from USC, the guitarist teaches at USC, the drummer has played for a dozen big name groups like Ambrosia and yes, we are lucky to have so many talented people in a little church (congregation is 150). The recording was done at the Little Red Firehouse in Pasadena, CA and the tracks were laid in and mixed on Protools in the guitarists's bedroom. This was a first effort for us and we were interested in getting some feedback for our efforts from the "sommunity." We appreciate all comments.
