You worked on "Puppets Who Kill"? Yeah, it's frustrating: when I listen to the song as I mix it, on my headphones, the vocals sound fine -- not too low, not too hot. But when I play it back on my car stereo, for instance, the vocals are way low. Shit. thanks. gotta fix this. The piece is alright--the vocals were a bit low in the mix.
Had to crank to hear.
Sounds like you were just trying out a lot of different
loops. OKay. Try to centralize around a few key loops
and build from there. Make your dialogue the focus.
