What a sweet song to write/record for your daughter.
Nice melody. While your singing is a little sloppy you do
have a really nice sounding voice.

Your tempo it is the main issue. If you can tighten it up
and get in sync with that drum loop that sure would help.
I always try to lay down a good strong drum beat to play
to rather than try to follow the metranome. It's easier to
hear and keep in time with. Maybe you did that.

Also, in the mix I'd wait a while before bringing in the
strings. Let it build to it.

I like this song,
Yes I agree that there are some timing issues and the
track needs to tighten up a bit between the drums and
your guitar.
As a first go on GB its pretty good!

I also feel you are rying to sing very gently which gives
your voice some hesitation. Perhaps try to break the
verses and chorus up with a bit more intrumental and sing
with a bit more confidence. ( Which I know takes time..
heh heh, but you have a nice voice)


Anyway, its a really great song with a catchy melody.
I bet your daughter loves this..
