I eventually
got the chance to play this one loud on my headphones, and it really conveys a sense of natural catastrophy, possibly in a more desolate place than Port-au-prince, but still. It also feels like the THX-sound system checks in the cinemas - at least on this volume ;-) I am still not sure whether that's distorsion I hear or if its just my headphones or the mp3-file/flash-thing and/or if it's possibly intentional on this one. The ground shaking city destroying rumble would bring out some distorsion IRL, I am sure. Anyway, very well composed, and thanks for sharing.

Epic and otherworldly
Some really amazing textures here--it does benefit from high volume (kind of like the THX theater demos, now that I mention it...wonder what it is about that type of synth texture that is more impactful loud??).
