Description:
The origins of a crush
Lyrics:
i got myself hooked on you/wasnt planning tonow i'm wondering/ do you feel the same way too
was it the way you blinked your eyes/that tripped me up and caught me by surprise
and i'm wondering/do you feel like i do
(chorus)
hit the deck/recheck
the package left on your doorstep
it's a trap
it's time to begin
just let me in
suddenly everything's changed/it's left me rearranged
now i'm wondering/do you feel the same way
i can't concentrate/i can't sleep
i've got a promise that i no longer want to keep
so i'm wondering do you feel the same way
(chorus)
Hardware:
just my emac and garageband -- used real guitars and real voices... played the midi keyboard parts with my hand/mouse (no actual keyboard!)Software:

I'm really liking this one. Love the sounds you are getting
(like to hear some more about how you did it). You got a
Richard Butler (Psych. Furs/Love Spit Love) thing going on
with the vocals - that's cool.
But, I can't really hear most of the vocals - bring them up.
And, your chorus is too similar to the verse - i'd like to
see you change it up a little (different chords, or same
chords different order). Fix it up a little and its in my top
ten, maybe top 5. 8-6-7-8

yeah, when I compressed it into an mp3 I thought right away that the vocals aren't loud enough. but thanks for the kind words, though. i intentionally kept the same chord progression throughout (a la Sweet Jane), trying to mix it up by adding different dynamic elements... but perhaps I'll write in a bridge or a key change or something.

I enjoyed this alot. I agree though, the vocals get drowned
out, especially in the chorus. Kind of reminded me of late
80s techno stuff. 8-6-8-8.

Turn up the vocals a bit.
Other than that a very solid track.

Your making some good music. This is a great complete
song from begining to end. Great lyrics and a good mix
too. THe vocals could be stronger in the mix, but then
again maybe not. Anyway, keep it up.
