so many ideas all crowd around competing to explain this, and yet few actual words come to mind to say

the clouds are crying

time sweeps us away

I like how
this builds and then inverts toward the end. I am also thankful I no longer do drugs... cause this would have kept me in the house for a week or so. It's always a treat Smokey.
Peace
Guy

I think
you captured the essentials of the sky with this, in the monotony of the violins and the vocals, which though are the same, are ever changing like the sky, apart from the basic background (the violins) and even they sound different in contrast to the other sounds. If ever there was a guy who could make something out of nothing.... it's you LOL.... this is great, regards M

Great song
but I know it would be trippy on shrooms...that ticking clock is creepy

On a roll?
So it's about the sky and wind then?

Builds very cleverly. Remarkable work Bill.

Cheers

Sky-eye-eye
There's a lot going on here, plenty to listen to--as well as persistent rhythms and motifs that effectively are sending me into a semi-hypnotic state. Quite a sonic vision!!!

yes i did spend a bit of time coming up with this thing

with the exception of the drum pattern that starts at 3:14 (built of apple loops Downtempo Downbeat 01,02,03) the rest is entirely my own material

i think it's a conflict of static and dynamic - each new track that comes in or fades away changes the context and meaning - it's the same, yet it's not the same

not unlike life itself - or the phases that MacJams seems to go through over time...

many thanks

OH GOD
This is a bit freaky and whole lot of deaky.

The voices are awesome but they make me want to sleep with the lights on.

The monotone mood is great also.

Bill - you've been making great music of late
which is not that unusual - you always create intriguing pieces that defy categorization. This one has a shamanic quality that I really like - a ritual feel that is very compelling. Nice use of the ticking clock percussion. Trippy Timex.

How beautiful. Wish you could see in my mind how I feel, not so good English, I am sorry. I love this song.

XOXO,
CC

awesome Bill
this is a great listen. love the elements that you put together. i like the clock very much, and then all of the twisted percussion and vox come in. right up my alley.

Timeless Ticking
of the clock, never stops...

Sky never stops...

On and on, this is a meditation. I really like the way this piece builds as it progresses, then thins out again at the end.

Excellent vocals. Very trance-like. Did you do the higher-range "falsetto" ones, too? They sounded great!

i was messing about with the vocal transformer - no pitch correction however

the ticking sound was added last - i suddenly realized it needed a unifying sound, and that was it

thanks!

Very interesting
A throwback, and almost tribal. I can see one of those shuffle dances to it. Some stone age tribe dancing around the fire praying for the wind to blow back the blue sky. Flute....Great!

i almost genre'd this one as Native American - but it's a reach - another recent song also along these lines: Spiritus Felis - i guess i'm working out something somehow with these...

thanks

the ticking clock says it all. every time i think you've outdone yourself in the creativity dept., you come up with something like this. you really are a wizard - this is both thoughtful and captivating. (so are you)
