Backbeat! I like the way the percussion is just slightly behind the beat in the beginning section...then it suddenly changes to vocals without drums...then nice return! This is the most laid-back vocals I've heard from you yet -- you actually sound like you're not on the verge of hurting your vocal cords! I wanna hear MORE of this kinda thing! Much improved I just listened to the original version. This is a much improved mix that sounds fuller and rounder. Your vocals are amazing, and if I ever need vocals for something weird that I can't do myself I will definitely consider asking you. I don't think I heard the original, but the mix here is spacious and vibrant--not that I'd expect any less from you! The interlocking vocal lines are so engaging and dramatic too: you've got such a flair for using your voice in unusual ways on your recordings, it makes me want to work harder to be more original on mine:).
