Description
Just a fun loop thing I put together once when I was on the phone with my girlfriend. She came up with the title.

I was just bored and on the phone with my girlfriend who was probably not sober at the time. There's not much more I can say about that. The vibraphone and timpani are my favorite things about this piece too.

loopy girlfriends
exciting and unpredictable.

I recognize a number of these loops, and am therefore *very* impressed at your big-picture overview of overall construction of the piece, rather major alteration and personalization of the loops, and deft writing of the transitions that bind it all together into a compelling, cohesive whole... bravo. Not something for the faint of heart... I have tried playing with those loops off and on in the past, and it requires great skill to do anything more than a passing interlude with them. This has Aaron all over it, as you waft between MelodicMozart and RamblingRachmaninov. Great fun, and cohesive too!

Drakonis!
As always your kind words mean a lot to me. I'm impressed that you find the overall piece compelling and cohesive. I was worried it was much too repetitive. It's difficult using loops like this to do anything harmonically complex. I've never seen my name in the same sentence as Mozard and Rachmaninov, but who am I to argue?

I love mushrooms
Nice job dude! Dealing with loops isn't as easy as some might think, although seems easy for you. I'v heard of many compositional procedures but never any involving a phone. Cool stuff!

That is a very cool arrangement. I had to listen twice because of the change at 1:38 was so unexpected (yet quite tasty). This is an incredibly well thought out piece. Nice work.

Loopy Imagination
is not easy to come by. You've got it! :-)

It's challenging to put these little musical fragments into something which has a coherent flow, instead of just random loops strung together. You obviously took care in finding compatible sounds, yet some unexpected ones which actually fit well.

The piano loops hold this piece together from beginning to end, which creates musical consistency and an identifiable theme (one of my favorite phrases over the years, you will find!).

Who says loops can't be cool? You did very well with this one.

You're a fungi...,
Get it?! Sorry for the bad pun. This is a lot of fun with a but intense. I love the emotions that rise from this piece! I feel like time is of the essence. Then you have to creep around the giant three headed beast that asleep at 1:38!
Nice job,
