Description

Trying to stay original. Near finished.

sounds/synths are modified VSTs in cubase. midi/sequenced.
Drums are a few different loops that I put together. with my own layered in parts.
Sound clips from the movie "casino" "Frankenstein" & I believe "braveheart".
1 Sample (horn hits) about 2 sec long that drops in and out.

	Darkman Sountrack Your making a soundscape for "Darkman". The concept is plainly rendered and the production supports the ideas. dark crystals...
Has that dark foreboding sound, but with a hint of melodrama, and a super squeaky-clean mix, this sounds really good! At the very beginning though, I would disagree with Daug and say that the extra echo on the first sound clip actually muddied things a bit... and made me worry that the rest of the mix was going to be overly busy, but then the rest was much cleaner. On the campy side near the end, but fun!

great observation, I was hoping someone would point that out. I came to the same conslusion eduard, it is actually the only thing in this track that I couldnt get satisfied with... Its a tough delay to keep clean but still have that overlapping effect, I will rework it. Good point, the last thing I want is to give a bad impression in the first few seconds of the song, and possibly have people stop it right there under the assumption the rest of the mix was a mess as well.
