Lyrics

how an you just justify
how people come and change my life
new ones coming everyday
but no one like you

im feeling lonely
lonely that i cannot see
what your love could do to me
but ill wait here endlessly
because im lonely

in my dreams i see a face
her glowing heart fills endless space
when i wake i realize
theres no one like you

im feeling lonely

Applause...
...this reminds me of a 60s rock ballad in some ways. You did a very fine job in writing and performing this (your melodic line here is especially refreshing and enjoyable--you sure know what you are doing!)

too kind
i recorded this in an hour so its pretty rough, but i like it to sound that way. i need to record a better version with stu and alex when we can arrange it though.

Great Song
I love it when a song holds up with a sparse arrangement. Your lyrics are great, simple ideas that get right to the point. The lo-fi sound in the guitar and vocals add charm. The double tracked vocals are excellent. I look forward to the updated version.

Melodica!
Love your relaxed but really effective arrangement of this tune. Something about the melodica in the background elevates this beyond the everyday. I like the brightness of your strummed guitar too--and most of all your vocal delivery is just great. I'd be interested to hear what you do with a more "produced" version of this.

Great vocals
again. Love your voice. Great vocal melodies. Sounds excellent. Production is not the greatest but it works for this song. Sounds like an old recording, put a little record fuzz in there and voila! Nice job on this song.
