Description
This is a recording of an interview three of us from PBGB did on Canberra ABC station 666 on March 6th.

Featuring Peter Reid (PBGB drummer and vocalist), Heather McLeod (PBGB vocalist) and Neil Porter (PBGB guitarist and vocalist, aka jiguma).

A few people who missed it asked for it to be posted. It may only be here for a little while.

This is probably only for die-hards :)

Thanks Bill!

I've thought about it, Neil....
...and you DO have an accent...

I know this must be bandwidth limited, so the music doesn't have the sizzle end of the spectrum that it does on the straight musical bits you've posted... It also seems to have some phasing, maybe, on the cymbals.... I'm wondering if this is a collapse-to-mono artifact... This does seem like the broadcast is mono, or is my brain mis-wired?

Gosh, I had an eighth grade music teacher who LOVED 'Wade In The Water'. Must've run us through half a hundred times...

You're a good interview, Neil...

Great stuff Neil
I commented earlier, but it went adrift somehow, but it was to the effect that it was a good interview and you certainly gave MJ a good plug, cheers M

Missed this the first time around,
but I'm glad I found it this time. Interesting concept this PBGB. Sounds like something that could be a lot of fun, as well as a definite benefit to the local musical community.

You do a great interview, but I have to agree, you do have a bit of an accent. lol

Thanks for sharing this and posting it Neil, I really enjoyed the listen.

Thanks for taking the time to listen folks - a shame the songs didn't sound so good - they were fine on the reguar radio broadcast, just didn't seem to translate to internet radio for some reason.

Neil, what a great listen. Fabulous that they help promote music in this manner. Sounds like a fun time. It gave a real sense of rapport you share with your bandmates in the "collective".

ultra cool interview
And what a cool sounding band you have there. Sounding very much like a band I'd enjoy much listening to at a small club stage.

Was that my name I heard there... cool to be mentioned on Aussie radio... well, would be cool to be mentioned on radio anywhere;)
