Description
This is an energetic song that I created on Garageband - absolutely no loops, apart from the drums which I hate programming! This was actually the first song I created on Garageband, but I gave up on it half-way through and only picked it back up in the last few days. Let me know what you think please.

Lyrics
I've been waiting for you for so long
I've been searching for a face that makes me feel good inside
I knew that you could be the one
I just never had the courage to speak what is on my mind
But now that I'm talking to you, I'm gonna keep you
The moments that we spend together; night in bed is just like heaven

BRIDGE
I won't let you go
It's not that easy
You're in my flow
My river of life is moving faster than you know

CHORUS
Now I've got you in my arms
I can feel your tender charms
I'll warm your heart with all I have
Will that be enough?
Without you I'm obsolete
When you're here I feel complete
So stay a while inside my arms
Where I can feel you there

I've been searching for you for so long
No-one's ever made me feel like I am ready to fly
You’re my connection to the sun
Ain’t no clouds or rain, it’s just a wide open sky
Is this just temporary?
Or can I keep you?
The moments that we spend together; drinking wine is just like heaven

BRIDGE, CHORUS

AH!
Terribly sorry - I didn't realise the lyrics went like that,
even when I used the return button. Lol, I always looked at
other people's lyrics and thought to myself "Why do they
never put puncuation in?"....now I know.

Not to my taste but well done
This song is definately not to my taste, but it is well done.
You're a talented singer. The mix it rather tinny.

Instant hit
Not really my kind of music either, but definitely high
class! What a wonderful production and (a) great
musician(s).

good voice
I like this song. It´s a good compostition and you really
are a talented singer.
I hate drum programming, too. But please add some
breaks and fills to the drum tracks. It would bring (yet
more) life to the song. A song in this style should at least
sound as if a real drummer had been involved.

Secondly, the instruments, apart from the drums, are to
quiet and your voice (as good as it is) is a tiny little bit to
loud. You wouldn't hear the bass and the synth pad
anymore on smaller speakers (e.g. on a transistor radio).
You should remix it once more.

But all in all: good work. Keep it up.

Michael :-)

very musical
Your vocals/lyrics are excellent, and so is the musical
accompaniment. A lot of interesting little melodic hooks
and good chord progressions.

I agree with the previous observations about varying the
drum track more, and adding more of the lower end of the
sound-spectrum.

There's almost TOO much going on in this mix at times,
especially towards the end. Maybe some of the tracks just
need to be re-adjusted, a bit lower when there's so much
going on.

You the man !
Of all the music I've come across on this site yours shows the most potential for 'pop' success. Yes the production can be a little off at times, and they're not always to my taste - but, objectively speaking the songs are there. Keep it up.

Pretty Good.
Anton, I really think thatyou are very talented and your
arrangement and songwriting skills are really very good.
Good lyric writing as well. You do have a wonderful voice
and it is a real pleasure to listen.
Yes I agree with other comments that this track could
really do with some tighter production and mixing, but all
in all you are really heading in the right direction. Nice
use of vocals effects and layering of melody.

The drums
It kinda shows that you hate drum programming. They do
go on a bit.... Try to find a better way to distinguish
between the sections?

I'm listening to this song after coming across your "Uh
oh". This song does not have the immediate appeal that
that one has. Partly that's the arrangement, and partly it
doesn't have any "novelty factor" that makes "Uh oh"
immeidately jump out at the listener.

But you're a great singer and songwriter. Hm. Which song
am I going to listen to next.
