Description
Vic Holman, Micheal Wark, Mike Dancy, and me...
A remix of our 2007 song, one of several Goodwillys tunes posted on each of our artist pages. Vic did the yeoman's work in this song with his "come-to-be-expected" great guitar work. Mike Wark jumps in with a driving bass, and Mike D. brings it on with drums that rock. I add vocals, saxophone, and synth horns.
Enjoy the ride. I did...
And, Yeman, thanks for bringing back to my memory the Goodwilly's.
Why the song art? I came up with a lot of the lyrics riding to and from work on my bicycle. After riding back to work after lunch one day, one of my co-workers said to me speaking of the day (it was a little past noon), "Well, it's half over now!"; thus the title and chorus of the song.

Lyrics
Rambling on, it's plain to see
Dodging the traffic most carefully.
Treading each day, wondering how,
Sneaking up slowly, it's half over now
I can see for many miles,
How it ought to be.
I can see most anything,
When the mood is striking me.
I can see you in my dreams,
But then I awake.
And it's half over now.
Creative spark, life writing a song,
Whether it rhymes, can it be wrong?
They're screaming with pleasure, so take a bow.
Sneaking up slowly, it's half over now...
I can see for many miles,
How it ought to be.
I can see most anything,
That I want to see.
I can see you in my dreams,
But then I awake.
And it's half over now.
[Sax break]
I can see for many miles,
How it ought to be.
I can see most anything,
When the mood is striking me.
I can see you in my dreams,
But then I awake.
And it's half over now.... it's half over now....
