Description
My wife and I just finished a large remodeling job and I wanted to write a song for her for Christmas. This is my first attempt with Garage Band.

Lyrics
Take a swing...
Dry-wall starts to hit the floor...
Everything, is different now than it was before
When I fail to see your vision no matter how I try
I learn to trust in your decisions and slowly step aside
(chorus)
Baby I trust you
I put my life in your hands
you helped me tear down my walls
you made me a better man
and I know I will not fall
if you help me to stand
baby I trust you. baby I trust you.
You have a vision locked inside that only you can see.
You opened up a paradise when you turned the key
and I will be with you in this heaven for all eternity.
You're my love, you amaze me, I praise you for all that you are.
*(repeat chorus)

Firstly, good track. You've got some nice melodies going,
especially during the chorus. I've got two suggestions for
you to take or leave. One is the vocals have a lot of fx on
them. I'd tone them down. There's some strange phasing
going on, and I'm not sure if it's a chorus effect or if it's a
result of lots of delay, but I'd tone down the fx on the
vocals. I would not eliminate the fx - I'd leave a little
reverb and a little delay. The other thing is that I'd
harmonize the first line of the chorus ("Baby I Trust You.")
The harmony sounds really good when you kick it in, so I
wouldn't wait... I'd put it right in on the first line. Good
song.
