Yeah.
Yeah. This is way cool. The melody grows on you. By the
end of the tune I was singing my own vocals over it.

Shoulder's turnin' away from me
Baby's goin home

Shoulder's turnin' away from me
I'm feelin all alone

Yeah.
Thanks, we appreciate your comments. It's nice to know that there are other
people out there who can appreciate our style of music. We'll keep your lyric
idea in mind for this song.

Journalism without words...I'm for it!
After reading the title I had to drop in for a listen. I absolutely loath those so called news shows hosted by those celebrity so called journalists. I was a bit surprised to find an instrumental.

At first I didn't like the high-pitched synth, but it grew on me. The guitar groove is cool, but maybe a bit too consistent? A short section with a different chord progression might add a change of direction...a brief detour before coming back to the journey.

Your levels seem a little "hot" in the final mix. I don't really hear any clipping, so I wonder if maybe you're using just a bit much compression?

First of all, I must admit that I do enjoy the Scarbourogh Country show. I think
that Joe is a reasonable, level-headed and very fair man. However, my friend
would really like to tackle him.(in his intro he is throwing a football in what
appears to be his yard) As for the song; we don't have any music software, I
use adobe premiere for all of my mixing. Very limited capabilites when it
comes to audio mixing. Besides, I have no idea what I'm doing anyway. We,
HGB, just really enjoy playing and what comes up, comes up. I am sure that
you are right about more changes and poor levels but I also believe that
perfection is over rated. I like a rough feel to the music because nothing truly
enjoyable is ever perfect. Thanks for your comments, they are much
appreciated and we are very glad that you took the time to listen.

Country Joe Lives
This sounds so much like Country Joe and the Fish on one
of their long extended jams. They were a sixties band who
put out one good album and two lousy ones. I can see the
hippie chicks in their white peasant blouses and long
flowing skirts dancing in ecstacy as the ahhem kicks in.
