Thanks Thanks for the listen and the kind words. Even though a track like this one is done just for a laugh, I often find such a project can inform a future project. During the recording of the solo I was constantly reminded of the value in quoting the melody. I'll remember that for later. Thanks again. Play ball! Frankly, I can't tell a football from a baseball, but who doesn't love this old song? Fun! This song screams happy! I'm with Wharmingtonrise, i never got to see much baseball although i am familiar with the song.. Must be through the movies. Your take is full of fun and energy. A cricket match can last for 5 days, now imagine how fun a song would have to be to work at one of those games...? jeez. Andrew, OK, they want to use this as the opening theme for "Baseball Night In America". It a hooter! It really gets you moving. Maybe they could also use it as seventh inning stretch music. Life in a Small Market Things that make a Met fan jealous. Here in Tampa an infield upper-deck seat is $15. If you bring 4 people you park free. Well it's rounders really...(lol) I mean it is fun to watch,until the rules get in the way and then I get confused ......but for a bat and ball game that is REALLY confusing try Cricket...or at least try explaining the purpose...two sides are on the field both sides are out there but one side is in while the other side is out.The team that is out is trying to get the team that is in,out and then the team that is out is in and the team that was in ,which is now out ,try to get the team which is in,out again. etc....although I suppose round...er Baseball is a bit like that too?
