Great vocal performance. Your phrasing is excellent. You take wonderful liberties with the melody with ornamentations and dynamic changes that are tasteful and work perfectly with the orchestra. Question: When are you going to post one that features both your piano playing and vocal? I don't think I'm the only one here waiting to hear your voice accompanied by your piano playing.

Well, I would very much enjoy recording myself singing at the piano, but I only have one microphone, so it might be a battle between myself and the piano, although I'm thinking about recording the accompaniment separately and then coming down here and singing on it at the computer (also, in all honesty, I really can't sing as well when I'm playing at the same time--this I will admit right out front!) but I'm planning on doing something in that line in the near future. 	You Know How to Get it Done You should record the piano first on its own track so you you have unlimited mixing options. And while I'm sure you can sing and play at the same time and get great results, I'm a big believer of doing them separately simply so you can focus your full attention on each. 	Refreshing to have someone doing the big band style on this site. i think you may be the only one doing that style (well, at least that I can think of) on MJ. I understand this Bespoke synthesizer does an incredible job replicating the sounds of various instruments (as you can hear yourself!) Wow, you've got the pipes. I love this song. It is one of the many old standards I perform during a once a month convalescent home gig that I do for some dear oldsters. But I must say... you're vocal (and of course that great accompaniment) just shines so bright.

a movie called "The Legend of 1900"? hackneybloke says it's like you've been dead 50 years, and that's exactly right. it's like you've stepped out of a recording of all the great crooners.
