Description
It’s as though my songs follow the rhythm of a dance it seems, ‘Slow, slow, quick, quick, slow’. Well my last two were quick ones, so here’s a song that should bring a sense of relaxation, since it’s an emotional song about laying awake in the night, with thoughts running through ones head (we’ve probably all had such sleepless nights). In some ways it’s more like a soliloquy about lost love.
I love the sound of the electric piano, as to me, it’s the perfect musical sound for depicting moonlight and I added it, after initially intending to use just guitar as accompaniment. Also, I find it very difficult to sing to a track of guitar that’s played so loosely and in an ad lib style, because of the difficulty in timing. I think I managed it here though and hope you listen and like what I tried to do here, M.
