Description

This track was digitally remastered from an old acetate recording I had made for the TinTone label ("To protect your records, use only TinTone scientifically designed needles") in 1929 when I sang with Basil Fomeen and the Cliquot Club Radio Orchestra. Special thanks to Mahatma Kane Jeeves.

You got it buster! Actually, the 1920s were a VERY great decade for music--it brought us the likes of Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, Jerome Kern and of course, Mr. Cole Porter, who is represented here, and the modern stage musical, beginning with "Show Boat". You've got such a great voice, perfect for so many incarnations of 20th century pop & jazz. I'd love to see you get a forum going to put-together a virtual band of similarly-qualified jazzers with whom you can go forward and amaze.
