Description:
non-garage band, a capella, many voices

Lyrics:
Holy temple rescue me
Save me from the world I see
Holy temple rescue me

Sweet tradition carry me
Blind my eyes to what I see
Sweet tradition set me free

I am nothing (I am free)
I am you (you are me)
We are nothing (we are free)
We are nothing (we are free)

(repeat all, ad lib)

Thanks. It's a song I wrote a long time ago, but re-recorded recently.

Clean nice vocals &mdash 01/03/05 - 09:29:27 AM
Wonderful a cappella, with clean recording and nice full
vocal layering and stereo separation. The first part of
wonderful, excellent; the second part starts perhaps too
soft but is fun. Consider putting this under "Religious."
Very enjoyable track.

Thanks. Hate to ask a dumb question, but, does it make a difference which
category a song is in?

Seasick &mdash 01/03/05 - 02:29:37 PM
Great acapella piece. I loved the vocal layering and
harmonies. What else is there to say. Good piece. Do-
wap in the middle cought me a little off guard. Though it
was fantastic, it didn't really seem to jive with the intro.
The stero panning drove me a little nuts I would have
liked to hear a main part that stayed in the middel with
everything else swirling around it...but hey I get
motionsick easily.

From the choir to the Barbershop &mdash 01/04/05 - 01:25:37 AM
That was fun, almost like having two songs in one!
Although, I like the first one more, but that's my
moodiness coming through. :P

OK first, WHERE did that picture come from?!?! Don't tell me, you drew it... I knew it!...are you the same guy that has the "Jesus is me song"? LMAO.....I can't stop laughing......... you are so...o Dr. Demento....good job, very enjoyable!

The 'artwork' is actually a photo taken last summer at Yellowstone, a sign
posted by park officials, a visual warning not to step in the geysers and
boiling pools of doom--for foreign tourists who don't speak English?

Thanks for your comments. I am not demented, I just keep looking for Jesus.

if you seriously are looking..... you are certainly on the right path....IMHO.....my laughter, FYI, was the juxtoposition of the eclectic musical styles with the non-dogmatic, "enlightened" if you will, search for these truths inside, perhaps inside us all........

Loved it &mdash 02/24/05 - 11:04:40 AM
Mr. Atwood you are fearless in your artistic integrity. I like
that. Nuff said!

Enjoyable voice, so friendly &mdash 03/04/05 - 06:23:19 AM
This is fun, but what does the artwork have to do with it?
Not that I don't like cub scouts....

Rock Me Jesus &mdash 03/05/05 - 09:14:15 AM
Tom, as one Tom to another, we both like that
mischievious tounge in cheek thing. Of course another
way to say that might be keeping an open mind and
realize that nothing is for certain. When there is no known
then all opinions on the unknown are valid. But of course
there are a lot of close minded folks who don't agree with
that. And god (no pun) I wish I could sing those
harmonies like you!

Luvin' this... &mdash 03/08/05 - 08:22:40 AM
very cool a capella. Thx for sharing this. Only critique I'll
suggest is that the bass voice would sound better about
an octave lower. Prolly not much you can do about that
tho. Great tune.

An excellent study of harmonies... &mdash 10/12/05 - 12:35:52 AM
...in anticipation of further production on the Noel Project.
Thank you, Mr. Atwood, for posting this song and others here at
MacJams.
And keep up the good work ;)
