Ignorant, more like! Experimental since I'm doing my best to assault ears. I saw the pencil..it was what my arrow changed into when I pushed a button but it was very self conscious. No search for pencil tool yielded anything. I'm guessing you use the pencil to move notes or change them on a piano roll? I liked typing because I could use all the fingers. This REALLY is the first thing I ever played. So, I started at rock bottom. :) Check out my latest song called Boogieman Boogie Halloween 2012

Better than cringe, I expect. I have "seen" the pencil. I will track it down and kill it, hopefully..today sometime. I won't post many more things, though. I was proud I played something. And I assigned the same thing to three different voices, in mastering...a new place I found. I don't know what a lot of that stuff does, yet. worm-hole-journey wow I like your voltage-controlled-filter settings combined/stacked sounds envelope generator settings in this - your song here - it is so appropriately titled - tone-poem-jazz-like - it is this long subject exposition - it is hard to stop it in the middle - because more is wanted. - it seems to have worm-holed me, thrusting me into parallel dimension #2 - refreshing because it - well - just is - don't ask me to choose a key at this point please - nice * ~ Check out my latest song called Homeless Children

Three: Violins, upright bass and grand piano. It is the first thing I typed out on the keyboard. You are making a joke..? I think is definitely experimental and also accidental. I like how, you're willing to share your learning experiences with the MJ community. The teacher side of me really respects that. I'm sure others benefit from it as well. I'm sure someone will listen to this and want to know where the pencil and the musical typing features are. Keep learning and sharing and all that will happen is you shall continue to grow. Musical Typing 01 Yes! Congratulations. Unless you're an expert on whatever you're using as a controller it doesn't matter how the notes get there. You can even do just one note to start, and then copy and paste, dragging the note to different pitches and durations Check out my latest song called Llarions Blues

Today it's much easier to create music ... as long as one still has inspiration, ideas, and creativity. I personally don't consider if one has skills playing an instrument or using a particular tool, if the result is not appealing, although I have respect for great instrument players. Oh yes.. I have ideas. I have inspiration. I lack ability but I'm trying to make it happen. I was chuffed that I actually played something more than dat dat dat dah, dat dat duh...the Indian drum beat that was my only piece I could play on a piano. :) It is another step, hopefully, in the right direction. We live and we learn That's whats so great about this Charlene. You show a willingness to try something new, learn a new way, and do what you've never done before. That is a wonderful thing to behold. As for the music, like everything else in life we first learn to crawl, then we walk, and finally we run. This is strange and meandering... but that's not the point... you learned about the musical keyboard! One more tool for you to know. Even if you don't use it again, you know it is there. FEARLESS, that's what you are. Great to see you finding all the doodads... the pencil's a little further buried... you'll find it soon enough. And with most pencils, when you finally do find it, you'll be a little disappointed at how it was so overhyped. (evil smirk.)
