Description:
over the holidays my friend has helped me to understand the mastering process better and we took eight of my songs and did some mastering to them . mostly eq and warmth with some bumping out the extra head room. my first mixes sounded muddy on his flat speakers so i am re posting them as v.2. let me know if they sound better to you and thanks so much for all of your comments over the past few months.

Lyrics:
im keepin on top of the daily chores, tryin to make sure i have open doors,i can give a little up , give some away, ive got early mornings with the rain coming down, ive got thoughts in my head with more coming round, ive never been here before but ive been here before.... its al about tommorrow and what tommorrow will bring , its one thing after another after another thing this day was a special day i told my world about you, the sky was blue and so wrer you and we are lucky we are lucky again sittin in the kitchen smokin a joint listenin to the radio makin a point trying to stay focused in a way that helps me reach you, its al about tommorrow and what tommorrow will bring, dont thing about the money and the money will come in streams, satisfaction with my sorrow laughing in the silence how silly i must seem, happy to know that this is not a dream, its all about tommorrow and what tommorrow will bring, thankfull that i didnt take too many drugs sleepin on the kitchen floor painting over the bugs listening to you talkin on the phone..

Good song &mdash 01/04/05 - 01:14:37 PM
I like this. Vocals, guitar work, production are all just
dandy. My only minus is the lead guitar work. The licks
are a bit weak. Other than that, good stuff. [ Reply to This ]
you're quickly becoming one of my faves &mdash 01/04/05 - 10:52:58 PM
you really captured a giant sand/calexico sound with this
one, maybe a little luna in you. i love the crazy horse
guitar work, mixed with your dual vocals. my main
critique is that you tend to just have these stream of
consciousness songwriting style. which is cool... but
could be a bit distracting for those pop afficiondados that
expect repetition and hooks. guilty as charged. but rock
on.

that you so much. i had heard the giant sand thing before so i went to
get some of there music over the holidays. i can see the reason people
compare me to them now. neil young has been an influence on me for as
long as i can remember. i tend to write very quickly and it almost always
is pretty much what is going on right then. i like to aproch a song or a
painting or a sculpture as a project . it moves very quickly from idea to
drawing to being complete. i am a chef most of the day and i have
learned that there is always a deadline so concepts have to be reality in
an hour sometimes. i like the chalenge and then i move on to the next
on. every day is like that. thank you so much for taking the time and
energy to appreciate what i am trying to do and say [ Reply to This ]
Wow- I thought this was fresh and ... &mdash 01/09/05 - 11:44:00 AM
interesting....OK, my ONLY nit-bring the vocals up front more-like 30% more.......I didn't read the lyrics ahead of time, then read them...I got like 50% of it only because I couldn't hear the rest....otherwise great 9-8-10-9 [ Reply to This ]
Cool backing vocals &mdash 01/15/05 - 06:45:35 AM
Love the song! Agree the vocal could have been
brought up just just a tad. Really like the sound created
with the backing vocals...very warm and not overdone at
all. The guitar lead was minimalist but fit the song very
well. [ Reply to This ]

Listened to this again... this song reminds me of something the Stones might
do. Still a very good song! [ Reply to This ]
