Yamaha demo II (including Jämtländsk brudmarsch)

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
With this second demo of the Yamaha APX-6NA nylon stringed guitar together with the Yamaha AG Stomp, I have tried to show more of the guitars' ring … its' resonance. I have also slightly raised the Stomps' chorus since the previous recording.

At the same time it is a revival of the Swedish traditional wedding march 'Jämtländsk brudmarsch' which I had here at MacJams a couple of years ago. I remember that many of you Americans were amazed at how a wedding march could be so "moody". But so it is. I think it is in our ethnic mood.

One more demo will follow.

Always
love your playing.... this sounds wonderful with not as much ringing as steel strings, but nevertheless there's a lovely warmth with these nylon strings and there's a real quality sound... I especially like the bass sounds. Overall; just beautiful, regards M

So much cooler,
than "Here Come the Bride." You don't need me to tell you, the guitar and you playing of it are excellent.

This is certainly a tune...
...that I never heard before I heard you play it, but which I have now listened to countless times.... And oddly, for as much as I've listened to it so often, I often don't recognize it as it comes up on the iPod as I'm walking, BUT I KNOW I LIKE IT, and I have to stop and look to see what it is...

If they'd had copies of you playing like this available, Yamaha would still be making--and selling--the AG Stomp....

Nice playing
Guitar sounds full, rich, expressive - of course you had something to do with all that. Wish I had one.

Guitar player since 11. Can't play other instruments than acoustic guitars, well maybe aside from instruments that are tuned the same way; like ukulele or bass guitar. In younger years I took inspiration from classical guitar, American acoustic... [see more]
