Description
A cautionary song I wrote a number of years ago, and for some reason was moved to create a reggae-toned arrangement of. Those are actual authentic bear bells in the left channel, in case you were wondering.
Silly song or not, I still really appreciate the comments + critiques, so bring 'em if you've got 'em.

Lyrics
There's a bear in the area, a bear in the area.
I don't mean to scare ya
But I just left the ranger station.
And there's a bear in the area,
The area is beary:
A ranger told me that they're
Rising up from hibernation.
There's no need to fear
She told me what to do
And since I've found you here
I may as well tell you--
If it's a brown bear, stand your ground
If it's a black bear, run around
If it's a white bear, show your teeth
If there's a rock, climb underneath...
The most important thing is to be natural
In their land, obey their laws
Treat them just as well as you would treat yourself
If you were eight feet tall with claws
There's no need to fear
I'll tell you what to do
Just pay attention here
Or it's the last thing you'll do
If it's a brown bear, stand your ground
If it's a black bear, run around
If it's a cinnamon bear, wave bye-bye
If there's a tree close, climb up high
There's a bear in the area, a bear in the area--
Make sure you do the right thing!
I don't mean to scare ya
But I just left the ranger station.
And there's a bear in the area,
The area is beary:

Rising up from hibernation.

so glad to see a new one, so weird we saw a black bear trying to cross the highway last, night only the 2nd one I've ever seen, another odd coincidence is I'm working on a reggae version of keep on shinin' a song I posted a few weeks ago, this is funny stuff also I'm kinda on a tongue and cheek roll with my last 2 posts, enough about me let's talk about you...big fan of your voice which sounds great here and also a fan of your songwriting and this is no exception very well worded and phrased I know I'll be singing this all weekend camping, so thank you sir for putting a smile on my face this morning! have a great weekend!
