Description
To quote a songwriting friend of mine "extinction thinkin". (This is a line taken from the LP "Newz From Nowhere" by Rubiayat . The composer was an interesting guy named Carl Beck. I got to play a small part on the LP If you can find it, It is worth your time.)

Politics are a lot like driving a car. If you want to move forward, choose "D"
If you want to move backward, choose "R"

Hey Bill
I get to go first, so as I listen, cool intro, like the mix of sounds nice timing on adding different sounds, like the change up, and 2nd section, a little Sargent pepperish, cool! nice job!

Thanks for the comment
I would be hard pressed to describe anything I did using any phrase that included a Beatles song but I appreciate the fact that YOU did it> :)

I just meant
that it reminded me of the Beatle's, not borrowed, meant as a compliment!

I took it as such
A compliment is what I took it as for sure. I'm just too modest to think that I could even approach the beatles level of anything.

Cool song
I like the techno beat and the bass lines. This song has nice progressions. Good stuff.

thanks
The bass line does work on this for me too. I listened to it for the first time in a while on the AKG phones that I used when i mixed it and was pleasantly surprised with the sounds.

Been really busy
Thanks Vic.
I've been quite busy lately and have had to upgrade both of my macs after they were hit by lightening. It was a tribulation but I did have good backups for everything. I may get some time to post some of the stuff that I have in the can in the next week or so.

Just Cool
Love the melody. And I really love the ultra distortion sound it was played with. Really interesting arrangement. Great mix.

DISTORTION
I did hit it pretty heavy while I did this. Maybe because I was as mad about the idiots that are getting too much air time lately as they are about everything else. :)

When these dinosaurs turn to oil they'll be really high in BTU values 'cause they are already high grade crude. :)

IDM-ish
Lots of IDM beats, but then again the song isn't IDM at all. A pretty and well balanced blend of a whole bunch of styles, making a complete new style on its own. This is far beyond just an interesting track. It grows on you while you listen. And I'm hitting the play button once again. It's a download.

brontasauriously cool
I love the politics/driving a car metaphor - brilliant! I enjoyed this song a lot. Nice big and wide sound. Lot's of unexpected shifty shifts. Quite illustrative!
