Lyrics
When I get older finished with school, many years from now.
Will you still be taking me to Disneyland?
Walk down Main Street holding my hand?

If I don’t have a job of my own would you lock the door?
Will you still need me,
will you still feed me,
When I’m twenty-four?

You’ll be older too.
And if you say the word I will stay with you.

I could be handy doing my chores - taking out the trash.
You could do the cooking and the cleaning, too,
All the things that you love to do -
Washing my laundry, paying the bills.
Who could ask for more?
Will you still need me,
will you still feed me
When I’m twenty-four?

Every summer you could pack the trailer,
I would love the beach and the mountains, too.
Underneath the sky
Think of the fun we’ll have
Camping, you and I.

Write me an email, shoot me a text, send me just a clue
I’ll say please & thank you and I’ll wipe my feet.
Mom, don’t leave me out on the street!

Give me your answer, remember that I’m yours forevermore
Will you still need me,
will you still feed me,
When I’m twenty four?

I Teach My Students
The Beatles song. This is such a fabulous idea. And so well done. I'll have to play it for my class.

Wonderful
Could have been better if you tried. Love the lyrics, they are outstanding, and you son's vocal was spot on, just great.

Fantastic, that's what this is, Fantastic. Kudos to you Jhon.
(hope that's not a typo on you dad's part, tsk tsk Tom)

Thanks sloparts and alackbass
No typo on the name - Jhon's from the Philippines and that's the way he spells it. He's got a great set of pipes, but is a bit shy so I hope we can get him to do more (it took a Chuck E. Cheese bribe to get this recording). We originally did this for a mother's day program at our church and it was so well received, we thought we'd offer it up to MJ'ers. I haven't been on for a while and need to catch up but look forward to checking out your latest.

I'm just an amateur who thankfully has a day job, but I do enjoy the sound and feel of the classical guitar. I also enjoy the original eclectic collection of music found on MacJams and the support and encouragement of jammers. Most of my submission... [see more]
