Love it And, despite your 'nothing exciting' disclaimer, I found it to have a really satisfying build, especially at about 1:33. Then that drop off, to build again in intensity was really great- almost instinctive. The piano is very soulful. The electronic strings could have a bit more 'warmth' from my perspective, but generally an all around gorgeous piece of music. Check out my latest song called The Black Cat

I agree with Karen This may not be very physical exciting, but it is emotionally exciting as it evokes feelings in you, and that's where the excitement is. This is taking me wonderful places right now and I really like it. Very nice little bit of music. The only thing I have against it is how short it is. Otherwise, this is plain fabulous! On second listen I just may hear a slight lack in production, which perhaps some EQ-ing and maybe "normalizing" could take care of. But it sure is a very very minor point. Pleasantness. Very calming improv, Gail. I wonder where this would go if you shifted to some other harmonic vocabulary partway through, just to offer up a bit of variety to the pattern that you've set. Easy enough to retain the motif of this descending line...just shift where you put it and then come back to the opening. ... I very much enjoyed the unrushed, contemplative feeling of this number.
