Description
This is the finished version of the Interlude series of WIP's. There were just a few areas to tidy up after version 5. I've added a couple of atmospheric effects here and there. Also I needed to get rid of the main guitar arpeggio from the middle of the mix so it travels out to the left over the first 35 measures so it was were I needed it when the piano begins to double it and at the end. There was an overall lack of space at the end but I wanted to keep all the elements in, so I moved the horn further out to the left and violin to the right leaving the string chords in the middle. I knocked a couple of db's out of the end too, there was just a little bit of squeeze going on which was interfering with the higher freqs. Speaking of higher freqs, I also took the top off the opening shaker/snare sounds at the beginning at the behest of Henke. it does now sound cleaner, thanks mate.

Thanks everyone for following along and this track is DOWNLOADABLE! as a thank you to my Macjam friends/fans/family!

This almost completes the Earth Bound album. I can soon get to work on a couple of other projects (that means you Andy!)

Excellento Andrew! This is very interesting composition and takes me so many places. It turns corners with surprises...wasn't expecting the violins...wasn't expecting the vocals. Cirque de Sole' should buy the rights to this...would work perfect.

Marvelous Andrew
This has really been an interesting experience watching and listening as you built this wonderful piece. Each element has become more and more cohesive as you built the parts up to this finale.

And it really is a marvelous piece of music. Pulling from different musical genre and structures, you've create a "Real" work of art my friend.

Kudos to you

Very Professional Production
One can tell you spent a lot of time on the sound and production of this piece. It is very well performed.

Super tune
I videotaped some fireworks last night, and this might be the music to go with the video...slow motion, add video effects, cosmic.

A really pro piece of work
Very clean, yet it really hangs together. Very sharp. It almost feels like 3D. The Cirque reference is very apt. Mysterious, regal. The voice - a surprise, but it makes sense as soon as I hear it. Fantastic!

360 degrees
Well you made a real turn with that piece ... whole 360. I am mostly amazed by the sound quality that seems to me much better ... it sounds really pleasant in my headphones with all the instruments. It seems that it helped a lot to make all those shifts (I do not how much of it is also Henkes credit, lol). And also congratulations for bringing your project to the succesful end! Looking forward to new ones.

Tubular bell-like
This has a rather Michael Oldfield flavor, energizing yet hypnotic.

Your choice and treatment and pacing of sounds in your compositions continues to amaze and delight me. Your music really speaks to my soul, and obviously, to many others'.

Your recordings are unfailingly well-produced, very professional sounding.

Somehow, I wish that the ending of this particular piece was a bit more...momentous? Something tagged on to the end of the last chord, perhaps one last swirl of sound. But this is a great piece of music. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks
for cleaning up this mess ;-) Actually I don't know anyone here (or just about anywhere) who makes such incredibly clean and dynamic music as you, Andrew. It has been very inspiring to follow you on this track's journey. It helps to sharpen ones own ears and imagination I think. Something I will need now I have caught up with MJ-listenings and will start on some project of my own...

Thanks again,
Henke

Lovely Andrew.
It appears I've missed the WIPs but this sounds great: obviously, posting as you go along and getting feedback is working for you. I don't think you need help but feedback is always good, right? And your thank you to friend/fans/family is appreciated. Thanks.

Very, very cool
And by that I mean very, very cool.

I love that opening theme and the slow buildup is really tastefully done.
The violin melody in the slower middle section is a very nice touch.

I'm trying hard to find something to criticize - but I can't really find anything. I guess that's a good thing :P

Love this one.

I'll second everyone below
and just add that I thought this was excellent to the extreme--it does all a cinematic score should do, even without pictures. Congratulations on wrapping this up--it is excellent!

Darkly soothing
The intro is so cool. Great build and when you think where this is going you throw in a few samples you would not expect. Only after a good minute is the tone of the piece established and ready to take off.
It's always wonderful to listen to a track when the composer is in such control of the various voices (quite literally, vocals are placed perfectly around from 3:08-3:50!).
I'd love to hear a recorded violin instead of the synth, still - everything here has your usual bold, transparent and liquid sound we've come to expect and admire.

Real nice
Clean production with some nice vocal surprises. Surround sound mix? Anyway it seems to be a piece in a set. Very cinematic. What master compression/limiter did you use, Logic?

the flute
Is amazing. Loved the percussion, it is hard in a gentle way. Piano is a fine accompaniment, the break into the violin, builds a bit dreamy and then finishes off nicely. Enjoyed!

Whew!
This music really pulled me into it's swirl, ebb and flow. There are so many elements (carefully chosen, to be sure) that are here to like. Overall I think that this piece speaks to us in its power, delicacy, punch and soaring vocals, as well as the many contrasts in all of the other forms where you have woven them in. And an amazing mix to boot.

Lovely results Andrew, and thanks for letting us download it.

Cheers,
Doug
