Description
This is a crazy little thing I put together for my partner's birthday a few weeks ago, featuring our beloved rat terrier, Farina (part terrier, part rat, although I believe he might have some chinchilla in him too). It's really him on this--I stake my checkered reputation on that claim!
"A Shine on Your Shoes" was written by Arthur Schwartz / Howard Dietz in 1932 for the motion picture "Flying Colors" (sounds like a winner), but was given a nice, shiny buff by Fred Astaire in "The Band Wagon" (1953)
Arrangement and musical accompaniment: I forget--I think this is Alan McPike, but I have to confirm that--will verify when I can go through my disks a bit later.
Vocal: MJK and Farina
Photo: Stephen with Farina (and actually, this was taken on Farina's 9th birthday)
