Description
For lack of a better genre:
Rather than folk-rock (closest option), this is more of a sixties pop-rock throwback. It's a remix of a 2007 song that I took down in 2008. Just a moment in time of my music-memory. Some day, maybe a full-on re-recording. Until then,
Slip-sliding along, as it were.
Vocal, guitar, keyboard, bass: moi.
drums: loopy again.

Lyrics
Just Being With You
Music & Lyrics by Jack Miller 2007
Where can I go? G
What can I do? Em
I’m so in love G
Just being with you. Em
I can’t imagine it being much better. C - G
Don’t want to change unless I can be with you. C – G - D
What can you do? G
Where can you flee? Em
My lucky day G
You’re stuck on me. Em
Somebody wake me and tell me this isn’t a dream. C - G
Cause I look back on all these years and it’s hard to believe. C -G
But then I look into your eyes and then I can tell, C - G
What we’ve got is real. Em
Some would say the real deal. Am
But all I saying is I want nobody but you. C - D
… So tell me
Where can I go?
What can I do?
I’m so in love
Just being with you.
I can’t imagine it being much better.
Don’t want to change unless I can be with you.
[Instrumental Break]
When you’re away
I talk to the walls.
If they could speak
They’d tell you all.
I can’t imagine it being much better.
Don’t want to change unless I can be with you.
Where can I go?
What can I do?
I’m so in love
Just being with you.
Somebody wake me and tell me this isn’t a dream.
Cause I look back on all these years and it’s hard to believe.
But then I look into your eyes and then I can see,
What we’ve got is real.
Some would say the real deal.
But all I saying is I want nobody but you.
… So tell me
Where can I go?
What can I do?
I’m so in love
Just being with you….

.... er ... Hi Jack ;)
Nice tune - maybe I remember it from 08? I'd probably bring up the guitar to add to the rhythm, but that's a personal thing only.
Nice post!
Cheers from Oz,
Neil
