The Carrion Waltz (instrumental for Engish Horn)

Description
This pieces was far too fun for me to just vomit my vocal silliness over so I arranged it as a piece for English horn. Clarinet players should be able to manage it as well.

Beautiful!
Lovely piece, a setting in which all sorts of thoughts, macabre and sad come to mind in a graceful, shadowy flow.

i suppose lyrics would have made the action more specific, but that is rather a double-edged sword sometimes?

Inspiring stuff.

Very nice work...
enjoyed the main theme and sparse musical flesh rotting on the sparkling bones here :-) I will admit though, being a has-been clarinet player, that you'll have a hard time finding people to be able to play this... circular breathing would be required, since the woodwind has to play continually for almost 4 minutes without a breath! :-) And since this is so fun, I'd also suggest working on a "B" theme (or just an open chorus area with percussion-only) to alternate betwixt, to give more color to the piece. This is cool and worth extending a bit!

Thanks for stopping by!
Missed you man. I like the idea of "b" theme. I'll have to work on it.
