Description
On the 26th December 2010 I uploaded this track looking for a vocalist to finish it off. I sent it to Gaylen last week on the off chance he may be interested at taking a stab at it and low and behold about 12 hours later he sent me the fantastic vocal track you’ll hear here.
I wasn’t expecting him to use the original lyrics I’d supplied back then as I somehow didn’t feel they worked anymore. To my surprise he managed the impossible and made them work way beyond any expectations I had with a bit of clever chopping, moving and changing.
Can’t thank him enough for adding the final ingredient that this song needed. I personally think this song and his vocals were made for each other.
I’d also like to thank Kicbal and Fasteddie for lending their ears to this and supplying some excellent info on equalizing which I’ve tried to apply to this tune. I’ve learnt more in the last few days than I have in the past year about EQ stuff. Although I realise I still have some way to go before I fully get it.
The drums were performed live by my jamming buddy Robin Hagen, which I then transposed into midi notes as the live recording sound was terrible. I painstakingly did this beat by beat on all parts of the kit. Then I discovered that Logic can actually do this automatically by setting up triggers... Oh well, that’s 10 hours I’ll never get back

When Edward asked me to check out this song that he had up since early this year I worried right from the start. I am like the rest of you, even if I dont really LOVE a song I still like it. I have had great fortune to have collabed on some fantastic stuff here so I though my luck was up. I was floored when I heard it and that no one jumped on it. Then I thought, what if he is a jerk and that is why no one worked with him. I tell you I need to play the lottery because he listened to every suggestion I had and it was like working with a pro
