Description
Started this afternoon. Messing around with my guitar and some Spectral plugins - also playing with Crystal soft synth. The drums are loops - the rest is live or cut and paste.
Thought about vocals - but decided to post as is. Might add some - or someone else is free to at another time.

Welcome back to school folks - how was your summer vacation?

Love to hear some vocals
This is a great, trippy track. I think it has just the right groove for some trippy vocals. Jim White comes to mind.

adventures in hi fi
maybe not the best song to listen to when you've got a hangover like I have at the moment.....but this is really cool.
Love the marching drum beat and the guitars and sonic sounds flitting around really add depth and texture.
I need to go lie down now ;-)
enjoyed
cheers

record player/changer
image of a similar record player as my dad had when I was growing up

- similar music here that I had when you & I were growing up

this has a lot of potential, I think. Sounds good.

We had a Stromberg-Carlson hi fi
in a cherry wood colonial cabinet. That and the Columbia Record Club subscription started this whole mess for me. I remember getting The Ventures from the club - they had a limited rock selection.

Definitely trippy. How many lines of Crystal soft synth in there with the guitar and drums? It's a fun little toy to play with. Feeling nicely chilled for the evening now.

hi fi
i love this track. ....the urgency of the drums pulls you in from the get go. everything is perfectly spaced. yes, it could have had vocals but that's because it's such a good track. personally i prefer listening to instrumental music....and i could listen to this all day.

soundtrack material
which i knew how to play with toys the way you do. i love the flange/panning effects you have throughout. it really helps make this even more disorienting. sounds like you had fun with this one. vox might actually get in the way of all the coolness happening here. thanks for posting it as is. as is is awesome.

Funny
This has been on my much-abused work mp3 player for weeks, and tonight I finally looked up who did it!
There's something very satisfying about the collision of 'jammy screwing around' and digitalia, but I can't quite figure out if I'm grooving on the digitalia or comforted by the jammy screwing around. A great imponderable.
Thanks for this one.
