Lyrics
Put the table with the chair in a room without a key
There's a boy inside the man, 35 going on 17
Curtains ringed with nicotine flapping slowly in the breeze
The coming glow of morning light sitting silent in a scream
The things that hurt the most are the things that you can't see
The memories in the dark that are talking back to me
The father's shadow in the son, darkenss falls on an empty street
There's a boy inside the man, 55 going on 17,
Empty room, empty bed, wait for years to fall a asleep
The ceilings brown from cigarettes in a room without a key
The things that hurt the most are the things that you can't see
The memories in the dark that are talking back to me

nice
Really good soulfull singing. Pretty good rock
arrangement. Not too crazy about the guitar being solo
far left during that part early on where it drops to just
drum, voice, guitar(left). Seems like it would be better in
or closer to the middle in that part.

Overall, a pretty solid song. But honsetly, it sounds pretty
generic to me in the melody and arrangent.

Southern rock 'n roll!
Very like the Black Crows (if I remember the name correctly). The vocals are terrific and you've got a great voice. The guitar is also bang-on and tackles the genre just right.

I like everything about the production except the drums. You need some EQ there to separate the lows and highs - to get the snare to crack and cymbals to crash. If you haven't already I'd suggest separating the parts into different tracks and then judiciously cutting the EQ to isolate the appropriate characteristics.

Really great tune!

Rockin' the room
Such a great intro guitar solo, compelling, classic, perfect.
Really nice straight ahead drumming, driving it all
forward. The only thing its missing is a really jammin'
bass line. This is a very cool track. Nice claustrophobic
lyrics that work really well with the chorus as metaphor. I
like how you can hear the room in the vocals too, as if
your singing right in that same room.
